Terms & Conditions

• VAT could be reduced along with the guidelines from HMRC; if the standards are not met, VAT will be charged at a 20% rate.
• All joinery work supplied will be treated using a timber preserve and primed only.
• A 50% deposit is required for all works.
• All glass comes with a 5-year warranty.
• If extra weights are required, there will be a charge of £2.80 per lb. unless stated otherwise.
• New spiral balances will be an extra cost, price on application (P.O.A).
• If new pulleys are required, these will be charged at £22 each. Brass or stainless steel options will incur an additional cost.
• Extra ironmongery may be required by the client (please inform us of your requirements).
• Please allow 8-10 weeks for the joiner to make new windows/sashes and for glass to be made.
• All affected areas of the house will be covered with clean dust sheets.
• All rubbish will be cleared from the site, leaving the area tidy.
• Full payment is required within 7 days upon completion of estimated/quoted works. Please note, there is an additional charge of £28 for payments made by cheque.
• Any extra works discovered during the estimated works will be reported and priced (e.g., splice repairs, liners, etc.).
• Making good will be carried out around the frame only. We will not be responsible for defective plaster, brickwork, or render, but we can help arrange repairs at an extra cost to you.
• The client is to provide parking permits for the duration of the works if possible.
• The client will be liable for any parking charges for the duration of the works if a parking permit is not provided.
• By placing an order with us, you agree that we may use your contact details, including name, address, email, and telephone number, for the purpose of completing your order. We do not share your data with any other organizations, except a copy of your invoice with our accountants for financial reporting purposes.

Please Note:

• Upon commencement of works, it is possible to find extra works, as is the nature of sash windows. This estimate covers as much as can be physically seen and felt. It may be necessary to fix the top sash and have the bottom sash opening if there is not enough room in the box to take the weights.
